Illutron taught a series of workshops this week in Roskilde. We worked with young children, teaching them about fire and fire safety and about electricity.

Our agenda for the school day included a study into fire, how it’s made and how to put it out. We also explored electricity and how to use electricity to create fire (with a 9v battery and steel wool). We had a great time, and the kids were very enthusiastic and learned a lot about fire safety. They made dragons out of pex tube and craft supplies that could be use to blow fire! They also experimented with how to best insulate a piece of chocolate to keep it from melting in the fire. A great week, thank you schools for a fun time!
